printing installation arrows on carpet backing

A flooring manufacturer needed a simple way to print arrows on its carpet backing to aid their customers in proper installation. Their safety rules dictated that MEK-based inks could not be used, which ruled out some ink jet printing solutions.

They reached out to Pannier, who offers flexographic code printers suited to repetitive printing jobs. Pannier sample marked the material using an ink that worked well with both solid and open face arrows. The manufacturer chose Super Ink Print-All industrial printers and the open face arrows to limit ink usage.
