Pannier MCL1000G bar code metal tags are durable enough to withstand the entire hot dip…
A regional member-owned power distribution cooperative was looking for a way to modernize their system for making asset tags.
They had been using an outdated, manual embosser to make individual ID tags with equipment and location data. During busy times, this was a very time-consuming process to make hundreds of tags per month.
They had also been purchasing pre-embossed asset tags to label their utility poles. The cost and lead time for these tags had become a hassle and sometimes prevented them from being able to label assets in a timely fashion.
They purchased an EmbossMax tag embosser to handle all their tag-making needs. Using one common tag size enabled them to consolidate all their tag-making into one operation. They prepare data for the tags in a spreadsheet and send to the embosser for easy batch embossing, and they can now make asset tags whenever they are needed.
