QR Code Tags for Returnable Pallets

A manufacturer of returnable pallets has created an online pallet tracking system where the location and status of pallets of goods are trackable at all times. Using a Pannier NV5 metal tag printer, they print their own anodized aluminum tags with and ID number and QR code and attach them to each pallet. The QR code is scanned at each point of the shipping process, allowing customers to track the location of each pallet of goods.

This process gives manufacturers more visibility into their supply chain while saving on pallet costs.
