A hose manufacturer was struggling with manual hose tag marking, and turned to the Pannier EmbossMax 5000 to automate the process. Hose assemblies need to be labeled with the part number, item specifications, and a date code. A metal hose tag is marked with the required information, then wrapped around the hose and secured in place with a tongue-and-slot attachment system. The tags can remain in place through testing operations and field installation.

The EmbossMax can accept the day’s production data from a spreadsheet or from a network source. The embosser automatically begins the embossing process, and tags are then snapped apart for attachment to the hoses.
