The RV5 Tag Engraving Machine is a fast, affordable solution for permanent marking on metal tags. This fully programmable benchtop system utilizes dot peen marking technology to either engrave/indent or emboss tags. The controller stores up to 100 tag marking jobs that can incorporate auto-generated serial numbers, date and time codes, and 2D Data Matrix Codes.
Engraving/Embossing Options
Use the regular tag fixture for engraving tags of various thicknesses, or use the embossing fixture to create raised characters on thin (.008" - .020") metal tags. Character sizes range from 1mm up to 100mm (.04” – 3.9”) tall. The RV5 comes with 21 fonts plus the ability to mark logos and 2D Data Matrix codes.
Marking jobs are created using the unit's controller, or it can be interfaced with a PC or PLC for easy data entry and message storage. Pannier also offers custom data options such as reading data from spreadsheets or databases.
