Conveyor line printers are designed for (you guessed it!) printing items
as they pass by on a conveyor line. The printers use the friction of the passing
items to trigger printing. Messages up to 18” long can be quickly assembled
with individual characters or logotypes (multi-character strips) for convenience.
As the print wheel rotates, ink is applied to the printing dies with an ink
roller for clear and even printing.
Indexing Models
Indexing printers use a spring mechanism that returns the print wheel to the
same relative position after each mark is applied. These units are used in
applications where the printed message must be placed in the same position
on each item. A small gap between the items being marked is required to allow
the printer to operate properly.
Non-Indexing Models
Non-indexing printers rotate freely on their bearings and will stop at random
positions when they disengage from the product being marked. These units are
often used for marking continuous web materials.
Programmable Ink Delivery System
Conveyor line printers use standard 4-ounce ink bottles to apply ink. For
high-speed applications.
