Type & Type Holders
- Type is retained with a set screw for easy changing of characters
- Standard holders and type are stocked for quick delivery
Shank-style holders for use in impact marking presses are ideal for repetitive numbering and coding. Standard and custom-made holders can be used with interchangeable type and/or multi-character logotypes. One-piece construction is drilled and tapped at the top to accept a threaded shank. Stocked type holders feature a set screw to retain type in the slot.

Standard Type
Standard type features sharp face gothic style characters and is hardened to 58-60 HRC for marking surfaces as hard as 32 HRC. Standard sizes are made to be used in the standard holders listed above.

Custom Type and Holders
Custom-made type — for use in your own holder or a custom-made holder — is available as individual pieces or multi-character logotypes. Special single-line and multiple-line holders can be ordered per your requirements. Available with standard or custom diameter shanks, and your choice of various type retaining methods (set screws, cotter pins, or draw pins).
